About

Hello, and thanks for visiting my website! I am a young geographer with a passion for exploration, visual storytelling, and place-based education. As a cartographer and conservationist, I am particularly interested in how maps can be used as tools to empower and propel modern conservation projects. I am the co-founder of Maps for Good, a mission-driven visual storytelling team. Prior to founding Maps for Good, I worked as a cartographer at National Geographic Maps and National Geographic Magazine. Two months out of the year, I work in Costa Rica building the conservation mapping program for the study abroad program CIEE: Sustainability and the Environment. I welcome questions, critiques, and freelance work, so don’t hesitate to get in touch – I’d love to hear from you!
